New Solar LED Lighting installed
Carlton Parish council have installed a number of new solar powered lights down convent walk. These new lights are designed to charge up during the day and will only come on in the hours of darkness when they detect movement. This is both environmentally efficient and also keeps light pollution to a minimum by only coming on when required. The lights are compact and use LED technology to shine light in a sideways and downward direction thus lighting either side of each fitting. There are currently 10 new lights installed and we have the facility to install a couple more if there are areas of darkness requiring them.
