We have recently refurbished the bandstand in the golden garden in the center of the village.
This has been in place for a number of years and is well used by a number of people in the village at different times of the day. This work was put out to tender and was won by a Carlton Resident Michael Mason and his company Bristle with Colour. Immediately prior to starting the work vandalism was discovered where some of the fretwork has been broken off so the decision was made to continue with the refurbishment and we will attempt to resource replacement parts from the manufacturer. I am sure you will all agree Michael has done a fantastic job with the refurbishment restoring this centerpiece to it’s original state.
